Calling all Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles,
and Caregivers of any kind!
Could you use some help keeping your little ones supplied with enough diapers? Diapers and wipes are expensive! We are here to help.
The West Leonard Diaper Depot holds regular giveaway events and everyone is welcome.
Join us at any or all of these Saturday events between 10am and 12pm Grab some free diapers and wipes. Stay for a donut and some coffee or juice. We’d love to see you!
No requirements, nothing to prove. Bring only yourself and your needed sizes. Feel free to pick up for a family member or friend. Questions? Email Ann Wiersma – annwiersma@gmail.com.

The average child goes through about 30 diapers per week – if changed often enough. Each diaper costs on average about 35 cents. A month’s worth of diapers for one child can cost a family between $40 and $50. This does not include the cost of wipes, creams, etc. Obviously, multiple children in diapers creates an even bigger challenge.
In spite of being a basic human need, diapers cannot be bought with most kinds of financial assistance including a Bridge Card.
Very few resources exist to help families with this need. It is the number one request from clients to DHS workers, social workers, and food pantry staff.
Ways you can help

Pray |
Ask God to lead in this and that we would follow that lead. Pray for adequate donations, volunteers, and that those in need find their way to our doors. |

Volunteer |
We can use people to wrap and package diapers for distribution ahead of events and to work in various roles on event days: greeting, registration, distribution, and donut duty. |

Promote |
Follow West Leonard on social media! Share and repost the information there with your followers. |

Donate |
We accept any brand diapers in sizes Newborn to 6 as well as refill packs of wipes. Monetary donations are also welcome. For reference, these average costs:
